Kansas bars UM/UIM stacking by statute and caps you at the highest single policy

Kansas's rule is in K.S.A. 40-284: subsection (b) is the underinsured provision, subsection (d) is the antistacking rule, and subsection (f) governs settlement notice and subrogation. The minimum limits are in 40-3107, the pain and suffering threshold in 40-3117, and the injury deadline in 60-513.

Read how stacked and single-policy coverage differ in Kansas, check what subsection (d) says, or see how Kansas UM and UIM work under no-fault.
