Sorrow and solace are expressly recoverable
West Virginia's wrongful death statute, W. Va. Code 55-7-6, lists sorrow, mental anguish and solace, loss of income and services, care expenses and funeral costs, and requires suit within two years after the death.
The cause of action arises under W. Va. Code 55-7-5, and fault follows 55-7-13c.
