Colorado lets one policy be limited to once per accident
Colorado's rule is in C.R.S. 10-4-609. Subsection (1)(c) lets a single-premium multi-vehicle policy apply once per accident and bars setoffs from other coverage, and in April 2026 the Supreme Court applied the no-setoff rule to excess UIM insurers in USAA v. Wenzell.
