Washington requires court approval of a child's settlement, appoints a guardian ad litem to review it, and blocks up to $50,000 net until majority

Washington's rule is SPR 98.16W, amended by the Supreme Court's order of November 6, 2020. A guardian ad litem for an infant party is provided for in RCW 4.08.050. The tolling rule is RCW 4.16.190 and the deadline 4.16.080.
