Montana leaves a child's settlement to court protective orders, with no dollar threshold we could find
Montana's probate code lets the court protect a minor's money under MCA 72-5-409, 72-5-422 and 72-5-427, and requires distribution at majority under 72-5-429. A minor is defined in 41-1-101, and the deadline is tolled under 27-2-401.
