Kentucky lets a custodial parent settle up to a $25,000 net without a judge

Kentucky handles minor settlements under KRS 387.278, which lets a person with legal custody settle without court approval if the net due to the child is $25,000 or less and the money goes into a restricted account or annuity. The age of majority is in 2.015, and the tolling rule in 413.170.
